AnimeAMAZE System Died

The AnimeAMAZE Broadcast machine, known to most by the name 'Mint' Died Thursday morning at around 12:00AM EDT (0:00 GMT -4:00)

Mint, was, after all, running on a seemingly unstable motherboard, and found out later on, Hard drive. The motherboard has suffered quite a bit of harsh treatment, due to elements such as thunderstorms, power outages, and other small shocks. The system was never physically abused by any of the technicians.

On note about the 250GB Hard drive, Evidently, the SATA data connector, melted or broke off. Reason as to why this happened is unknown. The cable was just pulled out, with ease, and along with it came the plastic clip holding the conductors in place. Currently we are trying to see if Seagate (New Owners of Maxtor Drives) will accept it for RMA. The drive itself was never physically abused, and the HDD, was also in a very cold environment. System Temp of 18 C, CPU Temp of 25-30 C, and the Hard drive was always 30 C.

The System is running on a Temporary solution, and will be moved to a more stable temporary system. These systems will not provide as much power as a dedicated machine, so it is very important that we remedy this. Since we are non profit, and offer commercial free music, money is hard to come by. Your donations can help revive our dedicated system Donation of parts are also accepted and greatly appreciated.

If you like AnimeAMAZE, and like the services we offer to you free of charge, please consider donating to help us get our system, back up and running. I wish to thank everyone for their help and support thus far!
